Freshmen Football- This past Thursday night the LaVernia Bears traveled to Pleasanton to meet up with the Pleasanton Eagles. It was a scoreless game at the half with both teams taking a little more time to get going. The Bears opened up the second half scoring but the Eagle D stiffened by stopping the twopoint conversion attempt. Pleasanton answered back with a punt return by Josh Lopez for a touchdown. The extra point was good making the score 7-6 Eagles. LaVernia answered back with another score and again the Eagle defense stopped the twopoint attempt.
