$5,000 CASH REWARD

Theft on FM-3006 near IH-37


The Atascosa County Sheriff’s Department along with Crime Stoppers is hoping that a FIVE THOUSAND-DOLLAR cash reward being offered for one week only will help solve a theft that occurred in the 3000 block of FM 3006, near the southbound access road of IH 37. On October 26, 2011 at 7:30 a.m. sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the Salinas Construction yard located in the 3000 block of FM 3006 for a theft. Once deputies arrived they were informed by the manager that 4 blower motors attached to sand trucks were stolen the night before. The manager informed deputies that he left the yard on October 25, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. and there were some trucks coming in at all times of the night from delivering loads. He arrived on October 26, 2011 at 7:30 a.m. and found four trucks without the blowers. Deputies were able to locate evidence at the scene that indicated a small ATV had been used in the theft. The estimated value of the property stolen is over $48,000.00. Sheriff’s investigators have some leads in this case and are in need of your assistance to help solve it.
