St. Luke’s at Loire to hold its 6th annual Fall Festival

Members of St. Luke’s Catholic Church at Loire have planned their 6th annual Fall Festival for Sunday, October 2, 2011. They ask you to please feel welcomed to join them for their Sunday morning Mass at 10:30 a. m.

They will be serving up plates of their famous barbecued brisket and sausage, with pinto beans, country potatoes, coleslaw with homemade dressing, dessert and iced tea, for only $7.00 per plate.

You can get your plate to dine in our air conditioned hall while visiting with the friends and family from the community and joining all the fun, or you can get your plates to take home.

Serving starts at 11 a.m. Sunday morning and continues through 2 p. m.

Admission to the grounds is free! It is a fun Sunday afternoon for the entire family! INSIDE

Inside our air conditioned hall there will be a Silent Auction featuring a Fall table, a Christmas table, a children’s table with games and toys, a jewelry table, and homemade baked goods, such as: kolaches, cinnamon rolls, jams, and jellies. There are also wine baskets. There is a fish pond inside for the younger children. Also inside is our bake sale full of wonderful homemade sweets to buy.

FREE - FREE, yes free entertainment and dance from 1 p. m. to 4 p. m. by the Incredible Music Makers from Flatonia. Following their music will be the County Line Community Band playing a variety of music starting at 4 p. m.

A $1000 Grand Prize Visa Gift Card is the top prize for the Super Prize Drawing. The $1,000 gift card is only one of the 43 great prizes and tickets are on sale now until the draw- ing on Sunday at 4:30pm. The cost is only $5 each.



OUTSIDE

Outside on the grounds there will be the Arts & Crafts vendors, Plant Sales, Face Painting, A Magician & Balloon Artist, a Giant Inflatable slide, ring toss, milk bottle throw and plinko. So come out and join in all the fun!

St. Luke’s Catholic Church - Loire is located at 3930 FM-536. Traveling north or south on IH- 37, take exit 117 at FM 536 and turn east.

Grounds open at 10 a. m. and all activities will be held on the church grounds and in the air conditioned hall. If you need information, call the church office at 830-393-6021.
