The 32nd Annual Cowboy Gallop 5K Run and 2-Mile Fun Walk is scheduled for Saturday, August 21 at the Atascosa River Park in Pleasanton.
The 5K run will begin at the Atascosa River Park and run through nearby streets before ending back at the park.
Zach Foulk of Hondo and Julee Gossett Guinn of Austin took medals as the overall and first female to cross the finish line.
Entry fee for each event is $12 pre-registered or $15 the morning of the event. T-shirts will be given to the first 150 pre-registered runners and walkers. Plaques and medals will also be given to winners in the male and female divisions in the run only. There are 13 age divisions.
The run and walk will begin at 7:30 a.m. and there will be a free breakfast and refreshments to follow for runners and walkers only.
