Poteet in potential deadlock situation with Marion.

POTEET – The Poteet Agates are seeking a playoff berth with a win over Marion last night (results late).

A Poteet (17-17, 7-4 in Dist. 27-3A) win would have given the edge over Marion (22-11, 6-5) but if the Lady Bulldogs earn a victory, then a one-game playoff would be needed on Friday.

Poteet won two straight matches last week defeating Luling and Sam Houston, each in three straight games.

On Tuesday, October 20, Poteet defeated Luling 26-24, 25-19, 25-15.

Courtney Criswell finished with 12 kills, eight digs and two aces. Kyla Criswell added 20 assists and two aces and Delisa Rodriguez finished with 14 digs.

On Friday, Poteet defeated Sam Houston 25-15, 25-10, 25-16.

Michaela Calderas finished with eight kills and Courtney Criswell finished with six kills, six digs and one ace. Kyla Criswell finished with 14 assists and one ace. Rodriguez finished with 10 digs.
