United Methodist Men’s group mentors Cub Scouts

The United Methodist Men (UMM) collaborated on a wood project for the Cub Scouts Pack 194 from Pleasanton.

The men adopted this project as part of their mission and assisted the Den 12 Bears with making wood tool boxes that are part of the Sawdust and Nails requirement of earning their Bear Badge. The group provided all of the materials and tools needed and were on hand to mentor the boys with their project.

The Cub Scouts and their parents worked on making the tool boxes on Saturday, October 17, at the Lions Club Pavilion located in the Pleasanton Industrial Park. The Den 12 Bears would like to extend special thanks to Corky Shearrer, Murray Metcalfe, John Daily and the UMM men’s group for all of their help and support with the coordination of this project.
