Pleasanton CC girls finish in third place

The Pleasanton varsity cross country girls finished in third place with 82 points at the Gonzales meet held last week.

Gonzales finished in first place and East Bernard finished in second place.
The District 29-4A cross country meet will be held in Pleasanton at the Atascosa River Park on Wednesday, October 28.

The varsity girls will run at 10 a.m. followed by the varsity boys at 10:30 a.m. The JV girls will start at 11 a.m. followed by the JV boys at 11:30 a.m. The 7th and 8th grade girls will run at 4 p.m. followed by the 7th and 8th grade boys.

Ariel Martinez led Pleasanton at the Gonzales Meet, finishing in 11th place in a time of 13:42. Paige Smith finished in 14th place in a time of 14:02 and Amber Bas finished in 15th place in a time of 14:12.

The varsity boys finished in sixth place overall at the meet. Charles Diaz led Pleasanton finishing in 10th place in a time of 17:56.
