Agates tied with Marion at third place.

POTEET – The Poteet Agates remain in playoff contention with two games remaining on the district schedule.

Poteet (15-16, 5-4 in Dist. 27-3A) played Luling last night (results late) and finish the district schedule with Sam Houston on Friday at Poteet gym and then travel to Marion on Tuesday.

As of Monday, the Agates remained tied with Marion (21-10, 5-4) for third place in District 27-3A.
Somerset defeated Poteet on Friday in four games 21-25, 25-11, 25-12, 25-15.

Courtney Criswell led the Agates with eight kills and 11 digs. Katarina Wilcox added nine digs and Kyla Criswell finished with 16 assists.

On Tuesday, October 13, Poteet defeated Cornerstone in a non-district match 25-17, 20-25, 25-15, 25-19.

Leading were Courtney Criswell with 13 kills, Kyla Criswell with 27 assists and Michaela Calderas, Amber DeLa Fuente and Briana Ogden each with eight digs.
