Thanksgiving is a month away but area folks are thankful that St. Andrew Church’s turkey dinner is this Sunday.

Their annual turkey dinner is a major event in Atascosa County, so make plans to join parishioners for it and auction on Sunday, October 25.

The big meal is available to eat at the parish hall or to take home. This is a “complete meal” with turkey, dressing, gravy, yams, cranberry sauce, green beans, dinner roll, large tea or coffee and a piece of homemade pie!

The meal is just $6 per plate.

Serving begins at 11 a.m. on Sunday. As usual, serving will be both inside the hall and at the convenient drive-thru lane on Market Street. (See map in ad on page 5).

The Silent Auction will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday and continue to about 1 p.m. There are always great items that can be used as gifts or to keep for yourself. Christmas is only two months away so check off a few on your gift giving list.
