We are back to the familiar "How much rain did you get?" message I used to think was so strange when Don and I first moved here. We got over 6 inches in our shower this past week, and still need more. But, we should be careful to remember to say "Thanks" for this amount!

Rough and tumble, is the best description of the intense competition between man and beast during the Cowboy Fellowship Ranch Rodeo! Nine teams competed during the competition which was held Friday, May 11 at the Cowboy Fellowship Arena. The audience was entertained all evening.

The District 12 4-H Shotgun Match was held on Saturday, May 12 in Laredo. Yancey Miller, from Lytle 4-H, was awarded the 3rd place plaque for 50 Bird Skeet. Yancey also placed 4th in 50 Bird Trap and 5th in Whiz- Bang 50 Bird 5 Stand. Congratulations, Yancey!
