San Antonio District The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) San Antonio District will conduct one public meeting to receive comments on the FY 2015-2018 Rural Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for the San Antonio District. The San Antonio District Rural TIP includes, Atascosa, Bandera, Kerr, Frio, McMullen, Medina, Uvalde and Wilson Counties and portions of Kendall. The TIP is a mechanism used by TxDOT and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to fund projects for the next four years and includes all federally funded projects. This meeting is being held pursuant to Title 43, Texas Administrative Code, and Section 16.102, which calls for an opportunity for public comment concerning the program. The meeting will begin at 4:30 p.m., Thursday, April 24, 2014 at the Texas Department of Transportation Training Room Building 2 San Antonio Texas. Persons wishing to speak at the meeting may register at the meeting location beginning at 4:00 p.m. on the day of the hearing. This public meeting will be conducted in English, and is handicap accessible. Any request for language interpreters or other special needs should be made at least three days prior to the public meeting by contacting Melissa Bernal Transportation, Planning and Development, at (210) 615-5811. TxDOT will make every reasonable effort to accommodate these needs.
