Garman
James Edward Garman, age 65, of Jourdanton, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2010, in Jourdanton. Mr. Garman was born December 6, 1944. He is survived by his wife Janice Garman of Jourdanton; daughter, Molly Jo Garman and son-in-law Justin Stuart. Arrangements are being handled by Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton. A memorial service will be held at the Garman residence from 1 - 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2010.

Virginia Castro Hasette, age 86 of Jourdanton, Texas passed away on Monday, June 7, 2010, in Jourdanton. Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton from 2 - 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 10, 2010 with a prayer service at 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 11, 2010 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Charlotte. Hazel Emery Faulkner, loving mother and grandmother, age 74 of San Antonio, was called home to be with her Lord on Friday, June 4, 2010. Hazel was born March 10, 1936. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Verstuyft and husband Mike, Mary Arredondo and husband David, Lillie Aldrich and fiance' Leslie Rankin, Carolyn Desharnais and fiance' Matt Freeman and Misty Shelton and husband Lance; son Thomas Faulkner and wife Darlene; 16 grandchildren (including her pride and joy Kristian Shelton), as well as eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her best friends, Harry Morris and Patty Reynosa and her caregiver/niece, Judy. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Cleo Faulkner and son, William George Faulkner. Her family will cherish her memory and miss her dearly. Visitation was held at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton from 2 - 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 6, 2010. The funeral service was held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 7, 2010 at the funeral home. Larry "Butch" Mutz, age 63, of Bigfoot passed away Friday, June 4, 2010, in Jourdanton. Mr. Mutz was born March 23, 1947. He is survived by loving family and friends. Pantaleon Garcia Gonzales, age 87 of Jourdanton passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2010, in Jourdanton. Mr. Gonzales was born July 27, 1922. He is survived by his wife, Leanor Gonzales of Jourdanton; daughters, Janie Daly and husband Jerry of Bellflower, California, Virginia Gonzales of Janesville, Wisconsin, Lynda Allison and husband Rob of Indianapolis, Indiana; sons, Art Gonzales of Jourdanton, Richard Gonzales and wife Carol of Fresno, California, Joe Gonzales of Edwardsville, California, Ernie Gonzales of San Bernadino, California, Tony Gonzales and wife Betty of Las Vegas, Nevada, Lupe Gonzales of Las Vegas, Nevada, Robert Gonzales and wife Della of Hawaiian Gardens, California, Mario Gonzales and wife Karine O'Bryne of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Jesse Gonzales and wife Shelia of Belvedere, Illinois. He is also survived by his brothers, Nieves Gonzales of Phoenix, Arizona and Castulo Gonzales of Pleasanton. He also leaves behind 17 grandchildren, as well as 16 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by parents, Saturnino and Lorensa (Garcia) Gonzales and brother, Barbarito Gonzales. Zulaica
David Zulaica, was born on June 19, 1971 to Mary Olga and Jose Zulaica in Charlotte. David graduated from Pleasanton High School in 1990. In 1993, he met his wife Diana and they were married on March 18, 1995. David was a loving father to his three wonderful children. He was a devoted husband and will be greatly missed. David loved cooking and fishing and he loved to take his family to the beach. David enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends. David was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and an active parishioner of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Jourdanton. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Diana Zulaica; daughters, Cecilia and Zabrina Zulaica and son, Zachary Zulaica. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Bertha Montgomery; sister-in-law, Leslie Gonzales and husband Sammy; sisters, Janie Figueroa and husband Fernando of Charlotte and JoAnn Gomez and husband Abel and brothers, Joey Cantu and wife Linda of Jourdanton, Joe Zulaica, Jr. and wife Susan of San Antonio, Mario Zulaica and wife Kitty of Pleasanton, Leroy Ximenez and wife Martha of San Antonio and Larry Ximenez and wife Audrey of Pleasanton, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Visitation was held at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton from 2 - 9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2010. A rosary was recited on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. The funeral service was at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Jourdanton.
