In 1985, after returning home, he assisted in the formation of MINA Energy Company that has survived the ups-and-downs of the energy business. “Jack was the ultimate storyteller,” says his wife, Anne. “He told us stories of all his adventures overseas that ranged from dinners in Tokyo to the chilling times of working in Libya under the Khadafi regime.” Johnson was born at home in Kyote to Claude and Maude Johnson on September 12, 1931. He met his future wife, Anne, when working in Houston. They married in 1973. Johnson’s son, Craig, lived and traveled with them before setting off on his own career.
