Esteban Campos, Jr., of San Antonio, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the age of 50. Mr. Campos was born March 14, 1959 in Pleasanton. He is preceded in death by his parents Esteban and Hortencia (Huerta) Campos, Sr. Mr. Campos is survived by his wife Yolanda York of San Antonio; step-son Speedy Martinez; brother Ricardo Campos of Poteet; sisters Sylvia Gonzales and Juan Guerra and Estella Guerra and husband Rudy all of Poteet. Mr. Campos also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. Services were held Saturday, February 27, 2010 at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church. Hector “Sal” Saldivar, age 45, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010 surrounded by his family. Mr. Saldivar was preceded in death by his father, Gilberto J. Saldivar. He is survived by his daughters, Jessica, Samantha, Elisa and Maria Saldivar; mother, Luz Saldivar; brother, Gilbert Saldivar, Jr.; sisters, Elsa Saldivar and Veronica Womack; and grand-daughter, Bella Cobian. Gallegos
Johnny Gallegos, Sr., age 47, of Pleasanton, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2010. Mr. Gallegos was born September 4, 1962 in Pleasanton. He is preceded in death by his brother Eugene Gallegos. He is survived by his father Alfredo Gallegos of Floresville; mother Mary Serna Russell of Reno, Oklahoma; ex-wife Martha Garcia of Pleasanton; sons John Phillip Gallegos, Jr and wife Jennifer of Portland and James Gallegos of Pleasanton; brothers Joe Fred Gallegos and David Gallegos both of San Antonio; grandchildren Marlena, Alex, David and John Phillip, III Gallegos. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation was held Wednesday, March 3, 2010 from 2-9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton. Services were held Thursday, March 4, 2010 at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Pleasanton with interment at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Leming. McMillan
Jerald “Jerry” McMillan, age 57, of Jourdanton passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2010. Mr. McMillan was born October 18, 1952. He is survived by his sons, Jason McMillan and Bret McMillan both of Collinsville. He is also survived by his brother and sister, Truman Francis Fugle of Freer and Loretta Digges of Channelview, as well as four grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a son, Cole McMillan. Mary Louise Bradfute, age 81, passed away Sunday March 7, 2010. She was born March 31, 1928 in Houston. She is survived by her daughters Jean Ann (Bradfute) Brite and husband Steve of Pleasanton and Sharon Marie (Bradfute) George and husband Karl of La Vernia; sister Patricia Green of Houston; grandchildren Amy Brinkerhoff, Emily Grecco and Karla May; great-grandchildren John and Will Brinkerhoff, Zachary and Mia Grecco and Shelby Garcia. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Ron Richter, Lee Brinkerhoff, Robert Grecco, Larry Bradfute, Cameron Bradfute and Duey Ray Bradfute. Honorary pallbearers will be David Wayne Green and Chris Taylor. Jack Preston Johnson of Pleasanton passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010 at the age of 78. He was born September 12, 1931 in Kyote. Rosa M. Martinez, age 73, of Pleasanton was born August 20, 1936 in Abilene and passed away on Monday, March 8, 2010 in Austin. She is survived by her daughter, Martha Delgado and husband Armando of Cedar Park and her sons, Fidel Martinez, Jr. and wife Becky of Pleasanton and Joe Martinez of Indianapolis, Indiana. She is also survived by her sisters, Susana Chapa of Pleasanton, Anita Morado of El Paso and Gloria Vega and husband Manny of El Paso, as well as grandchildren, Chryssa Delgado and husband Paul Michael Krenek of San Antonio, Deonna Martinez of Houston, Natasha Robles and husband Mark of San Antonio, Samantha Martinez of Pleasanton and Paul Gabriel Martinez of Pleasanton and great-grandchildren, Jayden Martinez and Ava Robles. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lorenzo and Virginia (Moncibaiz) Morado; husband, Fidel L. Martinez; daughter, Diana Martinez and brothers, Pablo Morado and Felipe Morado. Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton from 3 - 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 11, 2010. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Thursday evening.
